How to obtain PIN for your CEM?

The CEM PIN is needed, when you want to change car configuration. For example, if you want to add heated seats, activate navigation, remove STOP/START, activate video in motion, activate cruise control, etc... There is many possibilities in the car, what can be activated!

P1 - (C30 / S40II / V50 / C70II)

1/ Purchase some BDM programmer for Motorola S12 chips and make full backup of your CEM and send the BIN file to us. We will add the PIN for your CEM into VDASH and then you can change configuration and remove/add ignition keys and security on MOST.

P2 - (S60 / V70II / XC70II / S80 / XC90)

1/ Purchase some BDM programmer for Motorola MC68386 (cars 1999-2004) or Renesas M32C (cars 2005-2014) chips and make full backup of your CEM and send the BIN file to us. P3 - ( V40II / S60II / V60 / XC60 / V70III / XC70III / S80)

Connect your car via DiCE to VDASH and click DECODE PIN on the main screen. The decoding process can take maximum 24-hours in total (usually 8-hours). You can stop the process at any time and continue later from last decoded possition. The car has to be connected all the time to the computer via DiCE and USB (do not use bluetooth connection) and the ignition must be ON (the car will be in programming mode - black). The car must be connected to at least 12A battery charger!
