How to retrofit heated steering wheel for all Volvo P3 SENSUS cars:

Applicable for S80, V70, XC70, XC60 MY 2012+ and S/V60 MY 2013+

What you need:

  • heated steering wheel
  • HSWM module (heating unit for the steering wheel) - 31343460
  • SAS ring - 31343662
  • SWM module - 31481775
  • heated steering wheel button for CCM
  • 15A fuse
  • VDASH and SUPER J2534 or Volvo DiCE cable
  • Check, if your car has compatible CEM H model year 2014+ with HSWM output (if your car is bellow MY 2014, then you need to replace CEM with MY2014 model)

Procedure:

1/ Connect VDASH and decode CEM PIN for your car
2/ Replace all related parts - SWM, SAS, steering wheel and add HSWM module - all cables should be prewired in the car - and install the button into CCM module (if there is already button for collision waring disable, just replace this button - the function will be moved into IHU menu, after config change), install 15A fuse into CEM module
3/ Connect VDASH and enable heated steering wheel in car configuracion
4/ Reconnect car again with VDASH and wait for SAS fixup to popup in VDASH according the changed car configuration
5/ Reload SAS module with SAS fixup and clear all codes
6/ Voila! All done and working!
