I reset my CEM because I wanted to make a configuration change and could not remember what the original setting was. I then went back in to reinstall the changes I had on there previously apart from the setting I was looking to adjust.
I tried to re-enable remote start option for my car, but it is no longer showing up in the menu for engine preconditioning. I've looked all through the configuration menus and I don't see it anywhere else.
Can you fix this so I can re-enable remote start again?
I was able to solve this myself. Somewhat. I reverted back the the CEM change from when I added remote start over a year ago. It now appears in the menu. What is curious is still why it did not show up after I reset the CEM the first time.
It's not a bug. Your car (YV1902FH0C2089586} is so-called model year 2012A and it does not appear to support the Engine Remote Start feature. Thus I modified the menu, not to appear.
Ïf it worked before, it must be something else defining which MY12 supports ERS and which one does not. So I restored that setting back, you can revert ERS back to operation.
