Upgrade or Buyback Options for VDD 1X / 2X Devices
If 2G network availability in your country has deteriorated and your VDD has frequent communication outages, you may be eligible for an upgrade discount or a buyback option.
VDD 1X and VDD 2X versions are equipped with a 2G modem.
The VDD 3X version is equipped with a 4G modem.
If the availability of 2G networks in your country has deteriorated and your VDD has more frequent communication outages, we offer the following options:
Upgrade to VDD 3X
Upgrade your old VDD 1X / 2X device to a newer VDD 3X version and receive a discount on the new item.
Buyback of VDD 1X / 2X
Request a buyback of a functional VDD 1X / 2X device that lost connectivity due to the 2G network phase-out.
- The VDD must be functional. The original box, instructions, and accessories are not required.
- Before sending the device, provide 3 photos: photos from each side of the VDD and one photo of the connector.
- For the buyback of a functional VDD 1X / 2X device, we offer €40 per functional piece. You do not need to purchase anything.
- For an upgrade from VDD 1X / 2X to VDD 3X, we offer a €60 discount on the new VDD 3X item. You must purchase the VDD 3X version to use this option.
- Go to the helpdesk and create a new ticket named "Return VDD".
- Send the parcel to the following address:
Ke Koupalisti 1390, 473 01 Novy Bor, Czechia - The parcel must be labeled with the RMA code in the format VDX-123, which is your ticket code.
- After the parcel arrives at the warehouse and is accepted, the purchase contract and refund will be sent to your account, or the discount will be applied to your order.
- For upgrade requests, include the order number for the new VDD 3X version so the discount can be applied correctly.
Important: The parcel must be clearly labeled with the RMA code. Parcels without the correct ticket code may be delayed or refused.
- If the shipping company adds any extra surcharge, such as customs fees, the amount will be deducted from the customer refund.
- The customer is responsible for any additional shipping, customs, or postal charges. If these charges are not covered, the package may be refused by D5T5.
- If the VDD is rejected by D5T5 due to poor condition, such as total device damage, the customer may request return shipping at their own postage cost or pick up the device in person.
Storage period: If the customer does not pick up a rejected VDD, it will be destroyed after 60 days without compensation.
