DIM Repair – Instrument Cluster (Combi Instrument)

The following problems occur on instrument panels of Volvo MY 2000–2009 models S60, V70II, XC70II, S80, XC90, S40II, C30, C70, and V50:

• running clock
• "falling" needles/gauges
• non-functioning high-beam indicator light
• instrument panel switching off
• flickering odometer display
• "scrambled" text on the information display
• "SRS airbag service recommended" message, etc.

A faulty instrument cluster (DIM) can present with exactly these and various other combinations of symptoms, which we can resolve with an immediate replacement using a refurbished unit backed by a 2-year warranty!

We replace either just the electronics or the entire instrument, depending on the customer's wishes and circumstances. The original bulbs/bulb sockets must always be transferred from the original DIM (these are not included in the repair).

The repair can be carried out through our dealers, by mail, or in person.

If handled by mail, we can send you a pre-configured instrument — including the mileage and language settings used in your car — so you don't have to take your vehicle off the road due to a missing DIM. We will then need you to send your original instrument back to our address (a DIM from a different vehicle cannot be sent) — please include your vehicle's VIN in the note!
