Denso units

Denso unit – 3.2, V8, T6 engines

PIN decoding is possible via VDASH.

Steps:

  1. Connect the vehicle to the PC by using Volvo DiCE, start VDASH - internet connection is required. The computer must be connected to the charger and all saving modes must be switched off.
  2. Connect the vehicle to a charger with a capability of at least 12 A.
  3. Log in to VDASH and detect the vehicle. The DECODE ECM PIN option appears on the home page.

VEA Denso unit – latest 4-cyl diesel/petrol engines D42xx and B42xx

CEM PIN – vehicle configuration

CEM – central module – PIN decoding for changing the vehicle configuration

PIN decoding can be done via VDASH - connect the vehicle to the PC using Volvo DiCE, start VDASH - internet connection is required. Connect the vehicle to a charger with a capability of at least 12 A and make sure the computer charger is connected and all saving modes are switched off. If the battery charger fails or is not strong enough, VDASH will automatically interrupt decoding if the battery voltage drops to or below 11 V.

Log in to VDASH and detect the vehicle. The DECODE CEM PIN option appears on the home page. Decoding can be interrupted at any time and resumed later.
