Repair of Volvo ICM from Volvo XC90 (2003–2006)

Typical fault symptoms:

• Non-functioning radio
• Display not working
• No sound, but display lights up
• Car battery draining
• SRS airbag error reported
• Etc. — typically LS CAN bus errors

Not every unit can be repaired! Sometimes it is necessary to use a CORE unit from a salvage yard — additional charge: CZK 2,500 excl. VAT.

After removal from the vehicle, the CAN BUS must be bridged to keep locks, turn signals, etc. functioning. On the ICM connector, connect white to white and green to green (CAN BUS bypass).
