Exclusion Clauses & Right of Refusal
Definition of Electronic Control Units (ECUs)
For the purposes of our services, the term Electronic Control Unit (ECU) refers to automotive electronic modules, including Central Electronic Modules (CEM), Engine Control Modules (ECM), Driver Information Modules (DIM), Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) rings, and radio units.
Conditions Preventing Service
ECU service may not be possible under the following circumstances:
- The ECU has been opened, modified, or physically damaged.
- The ECU has bent, broken, or otherwise damaged connector pins.
- The ECU is not supported by our service, even if it appears visually identical to a supported unit.
Procedure for Units That Cannot Be Serviced
If an ECU cannot be serviced:
- The ECU will be returned following a technical inspection.
- Photographic documentation explaining the reason for refusal will be provided.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Right of Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse service for any ECU if its physical condition, integrity, compatibility, or suitability for service is in doubt.
