Volvo P3 SENSUS Heated Steering Wheel Retrofit

What you need

• Heated steering wheel
• HSWM module (heating unit for the steering wheel) - 31343460
• SAS ring - 31343662
• SWM module - 31481775
• Heated steering wheel button for CCM
• 15A fuse
• VDASH and SUPER J2534 or Volvo DiCE cable
• Check if your car has a compatible CEM H, model year 2014+, with HSWM output. If your car is below MY 2014, then you need to replace the CEM with a MY2014 model.

Procedure

1. Connect VDASH and decode the CEM PIN for your car.
2. Replace all related parts - SWM, SAS, steering wheel, and add the HSWM module. All cables should already be prewired in the car. Install the button into the CCM module. If there is already a button for collision warning disable, simply replace this button - the function will be moved into the IHU menu after the configuration change. Install the 15A fuse into the CEM module.
3. Connect VDASH and enable heated steering wheel in car configuration.
4. Reconnect the car again with VDASH and wait for the SAS fixup to appear in VDASH according to the changed car configuration.
5. Reload the SAS module with SAS fixup and clear all codes.
6. Voila! All done and working!
