PIN decoding can be done via VDASH - connect the vehicle to the PC using Volvo DiCE, start VDASH - internet connection is required. Connect the vehicle to a charger with a capability of 12A at least and ensure connecting the computer charger and all savings modes must be switched off. If the battery charger fails or is not strong enough, VDASH will automatically interrupt decoding if the battery voltage drops (or is equal to) below 11 V.

Log in to VDASH and detect the vehicle. The DECODE CEM PIN option appears on the home page. Decoding can be interrupted at any time and resumed later.
